Okay, it’s not a vignette, but I know in my mind that’s how I’m probably seeing this shot as it’s captured. This is a simple composition during the bridal make up session in the morning, photographed outside, looking in through a patio door. I’d captured a series of safe shots, taken face on inside with plenty of three dimensional illumination to naturally light the scene, but I had time and light to look for something a little alternative. I hope this fulfills that wish. As a documentary wedding photograph this composition removes me from a rather obvious angle.
