Context in wedding photographs

WEDDING 365 SERIES #191

A succinct post this evening about context in wedding photography. Gratuitously ‘positioning’ a bride and groom with the aid of contrived posing aside, here’s a pretty natural example of this subject. Obviously to breathe context into a wedding photograph it’s not necessary to have an image of a bride or groom in every capture returned. This is an occasion where bridal party and cake do come together however to provide several opportunities in one image. It’s a cake shot, a detail shot if you will, but it’s equally a people and scenario capture. Banquet, bride, groom, cake; a contextual documentary wedding photograph.
