I’m immediately aware that this looks too good to be true in terms of an unaltered wedding documentary composition. I can hear purist photojournalists berating me for adjusting subject positions in order to achieve the mirrored cravat tieing and relationship to perfectly angled laptop. The Aviator Hotel in Farnborough, Hampshire is photographically dreamlike in terms of light modelling and classic uncluttered decor. This was the groom and best man’s base before setting out for a Rivervale Barn wedding. When the lads set to work in the best illuminated part of the room with their YouTube cravat tuition, the whole composition just fell perfectly together. Trust me, these two international sportsmen are not about to pushed and cajoled into a cliche photographic set up by a photographer half their stature!
